Ich habe eben einen Rebuild der im Cooker erschienenen Beta-Version von k3b2 gebaut. Die Pakete befinden sich (unter dem Namen k3b2) im mud_testing Repo und sind parallel zum mit der 2009.0 gelieferten k3b-1.0.5 installierbar.

Ich bitte um Rückmeldungen zur Funktion.

Wie üblich sind die Pakete ab morgen über urpmi/rpmdrake installierbar.

Hallo,
Ich habe das mal so eben per urpmi
Code:
urpmi 3b2-1.95-0

installiert. Da wurden noch 2 weitere Pakete mitinstalliert.
Dann habe ich mir mal schnell ein iso von Kubuntu heruntergeladen und
wollte das damit brennen. Aber da tut sich nix.
Klicke ich nach gewisser Zeit auf abbrechen erscheint eine Fehlermeldung.
Vielleicht mache ich auch was falsch, aber da gibt es ja nix falsch zu machen.

Hab die Bilder mal durch Links ersetzt, sind ja nicht unbedingt notwendig.

Ansonsten muss da wohl noch gebastelt werden...

du schreibst, dass man dein k3b2 neben dem herköömlichen nutzen kann. Ich habe nur einen Eintrag im Menü für k3b. Wie kann ich die beiden starten?

Es sind eigentlich zwei Einträge vorhanden, aber zwei gleiche. Da zeigt das Menü nur einen an. Ich habe das ganze mal so gelöst, dass ich den Menü-Editor geöffnet habe, einen der beiden in "k3b2" umbenannt habe und beim anderen den Pfad "/opt/kde3/bin/" mit ergänzt habe...

Einfach, ob es insgeasmt funkioniert. Als ich vorhin versucht habe, eine CD-RW mit der One-ISO zu beschreiben, ist er abgeschmiert, Das Löschen der RW tat allerdings problemlos. Evtl. wäre es gut, das Programm aus der Konsole aufzurufen, dann bekommt man mehr Fehlermeldungen. Ich würde das dann mal sammeln und an Nicolas und Helio weitergeben. Von denen stammt das Cooker-Paket.

"Device" zeigt überhaupt keine Einträge an. Es erscheint nur ein fast nicht sichtbarer Punkt links oben neben "Open".
Das andere werde ich später testen.

Und das ist genau das, was ich vor einiger Zeit schon geahnt habe: Mandriva hat einfach nicht die Manpower, um kDE 3 neben KDE 4 weiterzuführen.

Ja, k3b 2.0 wird der Qt4-Port von k3b.

Das nichtaufrechterhalten von KDE3.5 finde ich nach dem halben Jahr Übergangszeit mit beidem nicht so schlimm. Ich nutze das KDE4.1.2 jetzt schon eine Weile und wenn die Entwicklung hin zu 4.2 im kommenden halben Jahr gleich schnell verläuft wie die bisherige, kann 2009.1 einen vollwertigen KDE4-Desktop bieten.

In Systemeinstellungen von KDE4 unter Erweitert ist nun k3b Setup zu finden. Es kann da aber nichts verändert werden.
